We met Mr. Kim the morning after we checked in and immediately fixed us with toast for breakfast. It was such a warm and hearty meal after many convenience store breakfasts. He was very kind and attentive to our needs, recommended us trails to take on Seoraksan and even offered room service when we weren’t expecting it. The Lego decorations in the cafe were so cute, especially the Lego version of the guest house. It was also around the corner from the intercity bus terminal which we were pleased to find out for our next destination. Least to say, we had a very comfortable stay in Sokcho Hutte thanks to Mr. Kim and we wish we stayed a couple more days.

Check in was so easy, and I appreciate having an area to store bags. The host is so kind and patient and willing to work with your schedule. Rooms were clean and well set-up, made for a very enjoyable experience.

The guesthouse is cozy and provides an at-home experience. The facility and room was clean and comfortable. The hostess cares well for the place and for her guests. She goes above and beyond to provide her guests with information about the area, and even sometimes lends out things like hats and boots to guests who might have arrived unprepared. I enjoyed my stay a lot. The owner of the guesthouse is super nice and made great breakfast every morning. The hostel is in a great location and I got to meet some nice other travellers there.

Perfect stay here! Great location, clean, provided free water, toiletries, and best of all it’s quiet. Ppl here are friendly. Host was very helpful, thanks for helping to arrange an early morning taxi ride for me to visit Seoraksan National park.

The guesthouse is ideally situated, right next to a bus stop that will take you to the national park in about 30 minutes. The intercity bus terminal is also right next door, if you’re arriving from Seoul! The room was clean & quiet. Most importantly, Judith was the loveliest and most helpful host you could ever hope for! Would gladly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Sokcho!

It was only a short visit for me as I was visiting the national park (great location to do so) the owner was so helpful and gave me step by step how to get there. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a quiet relaxing get away and had everything you need. The owner even went above and beyond - I had to get a bus early the next morning back to Seoul and the owner kindly drove me to the station. Highly reccomend staying here! Overall great experience

Judith (the host) made our stay extra special! She was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had and made sure we were taken care of. The guesthouse is in a great location for restaurants and having the bus stop opposite makes it easy to get to the national park and other areas.
