I’ve spent more than a month in Japan and this was my favorite place to stay. The owner is very kind and prepares delicious and authentic food for you every morning. She even offered to drive me to Beppu, which was my next destination,on my last day. The place itself is located in a quiet area and close to nature, which is great. Walking distance from the more commercial part of Yufuin. The House is traditional and oldschool (in a good way) with heating, AC, TV etc. The onsen bath is also nice. Choose this place if you want a more authentic experience in the Age of soulless modern accomodation.

Service was EXCELLENT. He picked us up from and drove us back to the station, helped with all our luggage, and prepared everything to make our stay as relaxing as possible. He also spoke good English to make communication very easy. A very kind and helpful host and a very comfortable hotel.

Wonderful and very generous people. I was stuck in Yufuin due to heavy rains. They took care of me so much. Thanks to both of you from the bottom of my heart. Would like to stay there every time I visit Yufuin. Take Care, Tachikawa san and Hoaki san. Missing Bobby chan and Na chan.

It was an amazing experience. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night but the host made us feel very welcome and provided us with tips for dinner and other things in Beppu. We immediately felt at home, talking with the host and some guests at night. He also showed us his collection of Pokémon cards (which you could also buy from him). The coolest rooms in Beppu with an amazing view!

We loved this apartment! Everything is brand new, the beds are comfortable, there is a table with chairs to eat or work, comfortable bathroom with hot shower (and bath) and a great balcony. It was very quiet and just a short walk from the station. Highly recommend staying here!
