Bed and breakfast run by a lovely lady, who gives reccommendations for things to do and see nearby and in general is very helpful. Feels like staying with family! Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the small onsen.

Service was EXCELLENT. He picked us up from and drove us back to the station, helped with all our luggage, and prepared everything to make our stay as relaxing as possible. He also spoke good English to make communication very easy. A very kind and helpful host and a very comfortable hotel.

The host was very gracious and met me for a late check in. She gave me a tour of the house and facilities and gave me some personal recommendations for what I could get for dinner in town at that time of night. Her English was perfectly understandable. The Japanese style bedroom I stayed in was very clean and spacious. The house included all amenities you could possibly need. The two onsens were a really nice touch - perfect for relaxing in at the end of the day. The cards hanging on the wall from all the previous guests was a good little quirk.

The inn is a beautiful place with a lot of character, and you immediately feel at home. The hosts are sweet, generous and funny, and the food they cook is absolutely amazing. I stayed in a spacious, clean and comfortable Japanese style room. The inn is not in the center of town but rather in the quieter part of Yufuin, which was perfect for me. I enjoyed walking to and from the town, although the hosts made sure to offer me a ride to the grocery store and to other places, especially when the weather was rough. And of course, if you like cats - this place is heaven. The hosts have several funny and super friendly felines, which made my stay even more cosy and cuddly ♥️

We loved this apartment! Everything is brand new, the beds are comfortable, there is a table with chairs to eat or work, comfortable bathroom with hot shower (and bath) and a great balcony. It was very quiet and just a short walk from the station. Highly recommend staying here!

The value you get for this price is fantastic, this lovely nook exceeded my expectations. First, the location is superb - the hostel is close to both the Beppu train station and the Kitahama bus terminal, as well as a gorgeous hidden little passageway with vintage aesthetic cafes and bars. Second, the wide common room (+ kitchen) on the first floor is extremely cozy, the furnishing is lovely, and it can be used at any time of the day. This was very important and convenient to me as I often make phone calls during my travels and this common space allowed me to do so at odd hours without disturbing other guests. Third, the staff members I interacted with were extremely kind and helpful. Definitely made the stay even more enjoyable! Last but not least, I was very pleasantly surprised by how spacious the bathroom and shower in the female dormitory were! I absolutely recommend this place to anybody looking for a relaxing vacation.
