We particularly love its antique Japanese taste. The inside bedroom and restrooms are super clean. The location is super good. Easy to travel within the village. You may feel the setting of the entrance passage looks like a movie setting. It will give you special memories years later when you look back now.

Fantastic location, right on Uwanodai slope - actual ski-in ski-out. Host was extremely friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was great and good value. Nice draught beer! Shower in room with a shared hot bath that could be booked for free. There's a ski/boot room in the basement that opens onto the slope. The decor is a bit dated but in a very charming way.

The Hosts went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. They were welcoming, made recommendations specific to our interests and supported us with transportation. They made us feel like family. Do yourself a favour and book dinner at the Pension. It is home cooked by the hosts, with local ingredients, made to your needs/likes. We wanted an authentic Japanese meal and it was exceptional. Better than the food at any restaurant we have been to. The hosts also have a Shiba, Momo who is adorable! This experience has been unforgettable and we have made new friends :)

Probably the best place I ever stayed at, price to quality ratio is through the roof, room was very cozy, bathroom super clean and comfy, the host made dinner for us and we chatted and mingled in a small group until 1am 🥺 Amazing experience
