Super friendly hosts. Early check-in was possible, and he even gave us a lift to the Shiratani Unsuikyo Hiking Trail because we didn't have a car. The view of the ocean is also stunning! (If you stay on Yakushima longer than one day, I do recommend renting a car because busses don't go everywhere, only once per hour I think and stop pretty early in the evening.)

The owner was really great, took the time and explained everything, how to get to the hot spots and when to take the bus. Everything was clean and a lot of awesome people to meet there! Very very highly recommended!
