Rooms and common areas were regularly cleaned, with spotless floors and tidy surroundings. The bins were emptied frequently, ensuring a hygienic environment throughout my stay. Essential amenities were thoughtfully provided, including cutlery and a kettle, making it easy and convenient to prepare tea or coffee whenever needed. Despite being a shared space, the atmosphere remained mostly peaceful at night. Fellow guests were generally respectful, and late-night noise was minimal, but sometimes, there were disturbances A dedicated person was available to greet new guests and offer a thorough orientation, which made settling in and understanding the facilities effortless.

Having an elevator and a parking spot was convenient for our group especially our elderly. The host was quick in responding to our messages prior and during our stay, she also prepared some goodies for us as breakfast.

one of the best experiences you can have when traveling japan, especially if you plan visiting Nora and would like to get to know the countryside. run by an amazing and warm-hearted couple. you can feel their heart and love for details/authenticity. I strongly recommend to order the japanese dinner and breakfast. after a long flight, I had the best sleep since a long time. hope I come back some day with by gf (thanks again for the gift!) and/or brother/sister.

Very comfortable, spacious room. Exceptional host. He is so friendly and recommended an amazing sushi restaurant. You can tell he really takes pride in his ryokan. The common area was lovely to spend time in and it was no issue storing our bags. The location is also easy to get to by bus from the JR station and it's a short walk to the main Nara sights (or you can rent his bikes for cheap). So welcoming and comfy. 10/10 recommend.

Everything! The hosts are very nice and caring. The breakfast was amazing and perfectly prepared. The bedding was very comfortable, the bathrooms and toilet extremely clean. The living room was very cosy and nicely decorated. The location was 3 minutes walk from the train station, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The hosts were very helpful the whole time,they even organised for my luggage to be transported to the next hotel. Overall, an amazing stay, highly recommended!!!

This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. Best stay in Japan! If you are traveling to Nara, take the time to stop here. We really had an incredible stay with Noriko and her mom. The traditional house is beautiful with modern equipment and spatious (can contain easily 4/5 persons) in front of the family temple. We particularly loved the discussion with the host, the homemade delicious breakfast, the morning prayer and all the delicate attentions from Noriko and her mom.
