I highly recommend this place. The owner is so incredibly friendly and helpful and gave me a great immersion into Japanse culture and values, not only by the great conversation we had but also by the way he supported me during my stay and even afterwards. The house breathes Japanese history and has a wonderful spacious feel. I stayed in a beautiful room in Japanese style and there is a great living room to read and relax. I am very grateful for this experience and intend definitely to return.

Hiro was a wonderful host. He had many recommendations for the area ready, and even recommended stops for our next stretch of travel. Hiro has a passion for interieur design which you can see and feel in his house. It was very nice sitting together for chat and glass of wine in the evening … and to enjoy his breakfast the next morning. We stayed two nights, enjoyed our entire stay and can wholeheartedly reccomend staying with Hiro, specifically if you want to experience a japanese home from the inside. The owner is super, super friendly. She speaks well english, tell you the best things to do in Takamatsu and always very helpful. The hostel has such a nice ambiente. Everything is so cozy, silent, beautiful and soft. I really enjoyed it there. Especially the beds. Also you have a little kitchen with free water and tea. Also a beautiful common area. Around there is a shopping street. The Ritsurin is very close, the port 30 minutes by walk.

The owner is very friendly, he opened the door for us and greet us in the house. There are some snacks in the house for the guests, and we enjoyed them a lot! The house is a ideal place for family trips, there are in total 3 bedrooms (one can sleep 4 people and one for two people, one single room) you can sleep up to 8 people in the house. Everywhere is sparkling clean in the house. Highly recommended to anyone traveling to Takamatsu.
