The dorm looks so much better than in the photos and the bed is so comfy! They even give you an extra fluffy blanket for the cold (which you don't need because of the amazing heat pump). Sada-san and his wife are amazing hosts. They anseered all of our questions and even drank spme.sake with us. I hghly rexommend this hostel for any solo traveller.

The house was pristine, everything was clean and in good conditions. The showers and bathrooms were also impecable. The staff was friendly, and very clear with the indications. The location is five minutes by car to Ainokura traditional village, and close to restaurants and shops, very easy to reach from the road. I would definitely stay here again!

The absolute loveliest stay I’ve had in Japan. What a delight the hosts are - Glenda is an absolute gem and the loveliest. She used to tour around Japan as a singer! If you’re lucky enough, you can get her to sing a bit for you. Her husband is an incredibly talented chef and cooked us a huge and wonderful dinner - probably the best food I’ve had in Japan. Strong recommend!

very nice Host that helps you with everything and provides a nice breakfast. there is a good restaurant at 15 minutes walk and very nice onsen at 30 minutes walk.
