Mr Wang is the best host I’ve ever met. He goes well above and beyond to help his guests. My friend left belongings at the room after we had left the city. Mr Wang notified us and even posted the belongings to our next hotel destination. What a legend! Will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in Osaka. Thank you Mr Wang!

Everything was amazing!There was a well-equippent kitchen, bathroom and living room and very comfy beds.. You don’t need to bring your shampoo or soap. There is even a nail polish remover ;) The owner of this hostel is so kind, friendly and like a chef who prepared a delicious french breakfast for the guests ;) Location is so good, so close to subway.

All around excellent! It is a comfortable, clean, safe, and quiet place to stay in Osaka in a good location with great staff. I loved the experience of staying in a Japanese style house, and was happy I could store my luggage before check-in.

An incredibly memorable stay! First, I have to praise the host's daughter - she's absolutely wonderful! No matter what questions I asked, she would always carefully look up the information and patiently reply. This thoughtful attitude made me feel especially reassured as a traveler in a foreign land. The house is a wooden machiya townhouse preserved from the Showa era. The moment you step inside, you can feel the rich sense of history. The grain of the wood, the traditional layout, the old-style sliding doors... it's like traveling back in time. What I loved most was the location - right in an ordinary residential neighborhood, surrounded by scenes of real local life. I woke up to birdsong in the morning, watched neighbors tending their little gardens, and heard children's laughter as they came home from school in the evening. The local food recommended by the host Hana-chan was also delicious. There's none of the hustle and bustle of tourist areas here - just the most authentic everyday Japanese life. If you're tired of cookie-cutter hotels and want to experience genuine Japanese neighborhood life, this is absolutely the perfect choice. During my stay here, I truly understood what it means to "live elsewhere." Highly recommended for friends who want to deeply experience Japanese culture!

Lots of simple chain restaurants supermarkets, hot spring and combini available as well. The house is very clean and freshly furnished. Mr Harukawa is an exceptional host, who will go out of his way to make your journey as easy as possible. He speaks perfect English. He is also a certified tour guide should you need one. Higashiosaka is a lovely neighborhood 1 h from the city center, if you need good value for money and like to have a base away from the bustle book here :)

It's a small hostel close to Korea Town in Osaka but you're in the city centre in around 20min. Sonik is an amazing and friendly host that you can always have a chat with. Although it is a small guesthouse it's easy to socialize with other people staying. I loved staying here. Can absolutely recommend it.
