This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. This is more than just a guest house- this is a beautiful place to bring people from all around the world together.

super beautiful and serene, the welcoming was above and beyond. The host picked up our luggage from the train station and waited for us, even though we were 20 minutes late. we were invited to a beautiful morning prayer and were served a delicious breakfast. just a beautiful stay in a traditional Japanese house.

I was very fortunate that there were no other guests staying in the house and I had the whole space to myself, very spacious and comfortable, and the hostess Kyoko was so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place, close to Nara Deer Park.

A typical Japanese house inside a maze of streets filled with shops, bars and restaurants. All the important sights of Nara can be comfortably reached on foot. The house was spacious and had everything you might need for a memorable stay including efficient AC units during the hot summer. Although there were only two of us the house will comfortably sleep up to six people. Two showers and toilets.

its a bit away from the louder centre, so the neighbourhood is nice and quiet. close to the historical district and nara park. on the way to the station you can also go through the shopping alley and grab the famous matcha mochi on the way. We stayed for one night and had a lovely experience. We requested an earlier check in and it was approved, grateful for that! very cute place, clean showers and rooms. recommend
