This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. The stay at the temple was amazing, especially joining morning prayers (optional!) with the centuries old statues, and breakfast in the garden room. A real highlight of our Japan trip. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Exceptional.

Fabulous apartment. Modern, super clean and spacious. It was great to have three bedrooms, all having comfortable beds and a heat pump in each room. Very well equipped kitchen, including extra condiments which was much appreciated. Great shower and two toilets was a bonus. A few minutes walk from Nara station, which has a supermarket, restaurants and a chemist on the lower level. Only 5 minutes walk to the main tourist shopping street that leads up to Nara park. About 30 minutes walk to Nara Park. Being close to the railway line didn't bother any of us, we all slept very well. Would definitely stay there again.
