We had a wonderful stay on Mukoujima island. The island is very small with a lot of nature and a wonderful beach. The host was extremely friendly and caring. He drove us by boat to Naoshima port and back, cooked us wonderful dinner and breakfast and showed us around the island. We had a great time and would have loved to stay longer.

Beautiful and peaceful place with an amazing view. Very clean room and comfortable common spaces. But most spectacular is friendliness of the owner! Highly recommend.

It was situated in a quaint fishing village between the Art House project and the Benesse house museum with both areas easily accessible by the public bus which stopped across the road from Episode 1. They are self contained cabins with a kitchen, if you want to cook, but there are three places to eat less than 50 metres away. We thought it was excellent value.

La Curación offers accommodation in Naoshima. Takamatsu is 13 km away. The property is approximately a 10-minute walk from Gotanji Beach. Free WiFi is provided in all guest rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great and it’s easy to get to Yellow Pumpkin, Benesse House, Chichu, Lee Ufan etc by bike. The apartment is nice and exactly like in the photos. There were enough bikes for everyone 😊
