Exceptional guest house, great service, lovely onsens, the best guest house that I have ever experienced. The common area and kitchen, both tastefully decorated and functional with supplies of free coffee beans and equipment. Steep stairs are not a concern as staffs helped to carry the luggages during check in and check out! Room with tatami is spacious and cosy. We enjoyed preparing breakfast at the kitchen with ingredients bought from Lawson/7-11.

47 km from Fuji-Q Highland in Hakone, Onsen & Garden -Asante Inn- features accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and public bath.

This is an amazing place in the beautiful Hakone mountains that we will for sure once visit again. There are restaurants and shops in a walking distance. We got a cosy, clean, comfortable and spacious room that we liked it very much! The owners are wonderful people that do everything to make your stay pleasant. They are super helpful in anything you might need or ask. Navigating their guests in the Hakone area is something they do with love and even we stayed only one night we could still manage to enjoy the different sides of Hakone. Since it started raining when we were checking out, the owner offered us a ride to our next destination. This is one of the best accommodation experiences I have had and I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Hakone.

Highly recommend! I'm glad that I found this place. The owner makes a good family vibe in this little hostel. This is your place if you want to find somewhere affordable and social but not too loud.

Our stay at the Rustic Retreat was truly one of the best experiences I have ever had with any accommodation. 🌟 Our host went above and beyond: he picked us up at the train station, drove us to his favorite restaurant, and had prepared the most beautiful room for us. Everything was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and simply a dream. We couldn’t have asked for more!
