Everything is good. The room and facilities are well designed and clean,, and they even offered free simple breakfast. The staff who took good care of me, even though I arrived in deep night. The staff can speak Chinese, English and Japanese.

Amazing stray. Super clean, nice location, staff is super kind and the place itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast was super good (both the western and japanese one) and each food was prepared with so much care and attention to detail.

everything! the guy at the reception is the kindest! the guesthouse is clean and cozy! I totally recommend it! I had a private room with futon and the bathroom was shared, but bathrooms are so clean that it wasn’t a problem at all! Also there’s everything you need, towels, soap, shampoo etc. there are also some snacks in the common room:) last thing, position is great as well!

This was a really sweet property, it felt special to be able to stay in a more “authentic” property and the location was also great for what we wanted to do in Kyoto. It was clean and well appointed, we really enjoyed our stay!

Situated conveniently in the Sakyo Ward district of Kyoto, RokuRoku is set less than 1 km from Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, a 19-minute walk from Heian Shrine and 2.2 km from Shoren-in Temple.

Everything was clean and very nice Only minus is that the hostel is quite far away. It doesent look like it, but its like 1 hour by bus to bamboo forest or thousend torris The check in process was little bit long and tiring. Also there are two buildings! One where you sleep and second one when the zen garden is . Its like 5 min walk away from each other Everything else 10/10

We had a delightful stay. This Inn exceeded our expectations. The home is lovely and comfortable. Best of all was our gracious hosts Morio and my dear friend Yoshiko, who treated us like family. Our room was spacious and the bed was perfect. The home-made gourmet breakfast and afternoon tea was yummy. Also, their evening restaurant recommendation was superb. It was a memorable couple of days.. We would always stay here when visiting Kyoto.

Incredibly charming place. The Japanese retro interior design in the common living room is amazingly put together (and designed by the host himself!). It has a warm and welcoming feeling. The backyard with koie fish is also beautiful. The host is super nice and speaks English fluently. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Kyoto!
