Everything is good. The room and facilities are well designed and clean,, and they even offered free simple breakfast. The staff who took good care of me, even though I arrived in deep night. The staff can speak Chinese, English and Japanese.

Our recent stay at this charming inn in Kyoto was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. If i could give them more than 10 i would say 100. The room is pretty simple, nothing that fancy or expensive but the owners are so kind and welcoming. They were super kind and helpful, the whole stay at the inn was more than awesome. The best hotel of my stay in Japan

Was very spacious for our family of 5. Had everything we needed. Short walk to a Metro station and bus stop - so easy to get around. Nice and clean. Staff were lovely and they were happy to store our luggage on checkout day as we had things booked in before our train out of Kyoto. Would definitely book this again if I travel back to Kyoto.

- Friendly staff: everyone is very nice! The staff would explain to you all the instructions of your stay and help you as much as possible. They even made a customised key chain for you if you want your bed sheet to be changed. On the day of checkout, you can leave your luggage there and they would offer you for a rest in the living room when you return back to take your luggage. - Installation: there were all the necessary appliances in the living space which includes a microwave, water dispenser, fridge, TV, and even a leg massage machine (there were always people using it, it's very comfy). In my room, which was a 4 bed room, there was another TV just for the guests in this room. - Great location: very near to Teramachi and Shinkyogoku shopping streets. But it's very silent around the area so no worries about any noise.

Amazing location, in Gion, close to transportation but also very quiet with lots of great restaurants. We stayed in villa 1 with a deep ceramic bath. The Machiya is well stocked with a simple kitchen and microwave for breakfast. Love the little walk down to Tatsumi bridge and river (less than 100m) Familymart is 100m away and laundry service 2min walk. Staff were lovely and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place.

Beds were comfy and clean. Washroom and shower was clean. Other amenities such as bikes and washing machine were great. The staff is extremely helpful and easy to reach. Bus stop is a few minutes away and the philosopher's path is about a 10 minute walk away. There's no specific luggage storage area but the dorm is large enough that there's enough space to move and access your luggage.

4 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, Guesthouse Kyoto Arashiyama is located in Kyoto and provides free WiFi and express check-in and check-out.

We truly appreciate the warm hospitality and the thoughtful gift at the end of our stay. Our time at Guesthouse KYOTO Arashiyama was lovely, and we will definitely recommend it to others who wish to have a traditional Japanese housing experience.

Well, what others said about the place is true. It might seem far from the popular attractions but the transportation in Kyoto is very well covered. Nothing to complain.
