It's a very welcoming place, the staff is kind and friendly despite the language difference. I had dinner at the restaurant and it was unbelievably tasty, you should definitely try it. The room has all the essentials, they have a common area on the first floor with complimentary tea, coffee and hot and cold water and the place inside still looks traditional but well-maintained likewise immaculate clean. Also, super close to the bus stop and within walking distance of most of the attractions.

Beautiful space, great facilities and perfect for any stay in Koyasan! Staff were incredibly helpful with providing information for my stay and made it so easy. Breakfast was delicious!

We loved the attention to detail, especially the vintage record player with Japanese vinyls and how well stocked the kitchen was (oil, spices, rice, coffee etc. - the best we had in Japan!). Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!

The location is amazing. Could walk just about everywhere in under 20 minutes. Bus stop is a minute away. The owner couple is very helpful. Gave me recommendations to visit places and timings, no curfew. I was able to enjoy Danjo Garan, Daimon gate in a brilliant night view. Walking the streets at night without any rush to head back was priceless. Okunoin is pure peace at night. I loved the peaceful energy and silent, happy vibes of the guesthouse itself. They made an amazing breakfast considering I am a vegetarian. Felt like home. I'd definitely book again whenever I am back in Koyasan.

Loved the location - a walking distance away from the main areas you probably want to explore. Also easy to take a bus to Okuno in, or even walk there (about 40-50min when walking). The room was superb, exactly as described. The host was super helpful and kind, helped me to get local experiences I couldn’t find info easily online about. Highly recommend this place - thanks again!!
