The host is very enthusiastic and speaks English well, there is no difficulty in communication. All kinds of facilities are nice, you can also enjoy breakfast. Location is close to scenic spots and stations, which is very convenient.

The owner is very approachable, he goes the extra mile of asking how we are and offering a space for our luggage in case we would want to leave it if we need to travel around the area. Breakfast is available free of charge -toasts, cherry tomatoes and spreads. Coffee and tea is always available as well. Japanese breakfast is offered for an extra charge but we did not avail it. Room amenities were complete as well, there even is an extension available.

One of my best accommodations ever. Traditional Ryokan room with little garden , equipped and decorated with so much care. Kayoko was an excellent host and a lovely person. Prepared every day an amazing Japanese breakfast .Every day something different to taste! Very good location, short walk to Karasuma Oike Subway station and Nijo castle. Highly recommended .

The inn and the room is very homey (cozy and comfortable). The hostess Emiko is really attentive and friendly, and gives great recommendations. The breakfast is delicious.

Wonderful little hotel with amazing rooms like tiny apartments with everything you need..kitchen, washing machine, comfy beds, little things provided like coffee, tee, detergent, slippers, shower gel,...very nice staff...about 10min walking from train station...on the way there we saw one street with so many little restaurants...gion is quite a walk about 40min but we enjoy seeing the city like this...very clean, really highly recommended

The tea and coffee that were included were nice. The room itself was nice and spacious. Beds are comfortable and the hotel is fairly close to transit.

Everything was great. The shared living room may be a little small but the bedroom was big enough and comfortable for two people. The bed and blanket were clean and very comfy. They even had a foot massage machine. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They could recommend some nice places to visit and the place was close to a famous market. I will definitely stay here if I go to Kyoto again!
