Couldn’t rate the place high enough. Make sure you stay here. It’s basic but in the best way. You get everything you need and have the best time. The owner is the nicest most helpful person. Good location, 15 minutes walk from the port or a quick bus trip. Bike rental cheaper than others on the island. Stay here!!!!

The hotel is far from the centre and the train station, but it is in front of the volcano and has a breathtaking view. Don't miss the sunrise! There is no real breakfast, but quality home-made snacks are offered, as well as tea and coffee. The hotel is above an art gallery and a very good restaurant/bar, unfortunately it closes early in the evening. The main city’s historical landmark, Sengan-en, is 5 minutes walking from the hostel.
