The hosts are very lovely. They have bbq facility on site (1500 yen fee) which I highly recommend! It’s nice to have outdoor bbq. However, keep in mind that you will need to bring your own ingredients. To access this accomodation you will require a car as it is a bit far from the downtown.

I stayed in the dormitory, the room was super clean and spacious! The staff was very attentive. 10 min walk from town.

The building itself is very well maintained; despite its long history, it is remarkably clean, solid, and pleasantly comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, full of Japanese flavor, and served in just the right portions. The staff were warm and welcoming, with excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese, and they were always eager to assist. The traditional Japanese bedding was warm and comfortable, spotlessly clean with no odors, allowing for a truly restful night’s sleep.

The place is amazing! It's on the main street of Magome and a perfect place to start your Nakasendo journey. The place is very clean, very nice with comfortable beds. There is a common area with kitchen and tables where you can enjoy nice meal with the view of Magome's beautiful street. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful home in an amazing location. It really exceeded our expectations in every way. The level of detail put into the construction of the building is a work of art.
