Amazing accommodation, Hana-san was so nice and really went the extra mile to make us comfortable! The inside is very cute, we were sad we couldn't stay longer to enjoy it. The location is also perfect, easy walk from the station and right at the base if you want to wake up early to see Mt. Fuji, highly recommend!

We had a great time at Asumi Onsen. The hosts were very hospitable. They picked us up and dropped us to Shimoyoshida station. The breakfast was amazing and even catered to our vegan requirement. They even let us borrow their bicycle. It’s a must visit place if you want to experience the traditional Japanese hotel, with onsen.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The common areas have everything you need (big bathroom, ample kitchen and living room). The breakfast was also very tasty.

Fantastic location, comfortable beds, clean shared areas but most of all, amazing hosts. They helped me with planning for the days I stayed (Did a marvellous hike because they advised the specific loops I should take), and also just a blast to talk to about Japan, travelling or anything else. It was a great stay, calm and peaceful rest after Tokyo overactivity. Location is very convenient to go to the lake, do bicycle, hikes. Hosts are very nice and helpful.

We loved the close proximity to the to the train and bus station. Our room was cosy and warm and the Futon were comfortable.The toilets were shared but just outside the room.Showers were downstairs.The public kitchen and lounge room was well equipped. Close to Lawsons and 711 which makes self catering easy.Our room 202 had a view of Mt Fuji!! We would love to stay again. Special mention to staff member Shoki who was very friendly and helpful.

A great place, owner is very kind and helpful (and apeaks good english). Shared amenities are nice and clean, and you can see they thought of all the little details that travelers need. Location is good, 5 minutes from the bus station. And - we even had a view to Fuji from our room. Couldn't ask for more.
