Satoshi was a great host. Very friendly and helped where he could. Big room. Snack and tea for free. Comics and lots more. If i‘m back in fushiyoda i will visit again for sure.

Breakfast was provided every morning at at 7:30 8 o’clock and 830 it was a mix of Japanese and western foods. The Hot Springs were open from 7 to 9 in the morning and 7 to 11 at night. The owners were very kind and picked us up from the station on our first night and drove us to different places on many separate occasions. The rooms are fine and very spacious with Japanese and western styles available.

We rested here before our trip to mount Fuji the next day, the hosts were extremely helpful and they also gave a delightful explanation for the symbolism and the history of the place. Staying at this 70 years old Japanese house really made me feel like I was in Studio Ghibli movies or Japanese anime. It was awesome! Located in the countryside and even has a view of Mount Fuji making it the perfect combo. The architecture, homewares/furniture and surroundings perfectly convey the experience of being part of a Japanese family. Rooms with futons (traditional Japanese beds) and tatami (straw mat) floors, kitchens with traditional style utensils, toilets, all are in Japanese style. They also rent you kimono and yukata for free which gives you an almost real experience of being a local. The tap water even comes from Mount Fuji which allows you to drink it directly and safely. Everything is neat and clean. The owner is also very friendly, kind and polite. This guesthouse is 1000000/10. For those of you who plan to see Mount Fuji in the Fujikawaguchiko area, I highly recommend you this guesthouse. You won't be disappointed I promise. It only takes 5 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station. It was sad leaving there because I never ever in loved with a guesthouse/hostel etc so much before. I hope I can get another chance to stay there.
