Workers were very lovely. All areas were very tidy. You can use a local bath for free, which is 1 min walk from hostel. It is about 15min walk from train station.

I really enjoyed my stay! The hosts were so kind, and took their time to talk about what I should do in the area... that was really special. The home itself is very cute, simple, and feels like home! The room had everything I needed for my stay, and was really conveniently located. If I return to Beppu, I'll stay again!

Great hotel! The single rooms are spacious, and I had plenty of room for my large suitcase. The bedding is comfortable, although the pillow was a bit small. The staff are very kind and welcoming. The showers were clean, and I really enjoyed the small sauna. The hotel is very conveniently located, just a 3-minute walk from Beppu Station. There’s also a direct bus to the “Beppu Hells” only a 3-minute walk away. I can highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Beppu!

The property has 4 rooms (only one has Japanese beds). It was really clean and had more than enough space. And the onsen was really nice and could be locked (just like a bathroom). The washing machine was also very good. When we arrived there was nobody around, so we sent a message via Booking and 10 minutes later our host appeared. She was so nice and offered us green tee with Japanese sweets during the afternoon. She also prepared a fresh breakfast (we appeared one morning at 10.20 and she had prepared a small soupe and sandwiches- so thoughtful!). We can only fully recommend the guesthouse.

Sadly I sayed one night only in Yufuin, but I really enjoyed my night there! Jin is very friendly and welcoming, he drove me from the station to the guesthouse and again to the center of Yufuin. But anyway the gh is a nice walk 15 mins to the train station. The view from the window of the room was amazing! Room was nice and bed comfortable, especially after a hot bath in the private onsen available for the guests. Peaceful and relaxin place. Sometimes his cat is popping up for some cuddles, lovely!
