We encountered a strike in Venice. The bus system was very crowded, and the commercial atmosphere on the island was very heavy. In fact, this historic tourist city did not give me a very good experience. But the black guy in the hotel is very warm and friendly, which is the luckiest thing I have ever met in Venice. The room was super clean The lady who kept the contact was super nice to us, and easy to talk to and responsive. The place was really close to the bus stop, which took us to Venice (30 mins from door to venice). There was a really good pizza place nearby too and the area seemed safe as well. We went to a nearby park in the morning for a coffee, it was close on foot as well.
