Freshly renewed, I stayed in a comfortable and cosy room. I was by car, and I found the place easy to reach and very close to all the locations I intended to visit.

Everything is new and clean, and had all we needed. The rooms are big enough, enough space for a couple. AC was new and great. There is free coffee and tea. The whole stay feels like you're in a hotel room. The building exterior looks old, but don't let that deter you, the inside is completely fresh and renovated. The host was nice and welcoming and ready to help and answer questions. Parking is not included, but that makes no difference, the host suggests free parking spots and helps you find them. We parked for free nearby(5 minute walk) without problems, in the peak of season. Parking is easy to find. There is also parking right infront of the building, but those spots are paid at 1€/hr. Overall, it's just as we hoped it would be. Would pick this spot again. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

This is a truly exceptional place to stay - wonderfully maintained and comfortable, with a common kitchen equipped with everything one could want, including a large table where one can sit and read or send emails. The location is terrific, close to many bars and restaurants, and easy to access for a hiker. The hostess is an extremely kind and welcoming individual, who goes out of her way to be helpful to her guests. We had a wonderful stay here, at the end of a long hike along a segment of the Via Francigena. Our highest recommendation!!!

Very nice hotel close to town. The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are awesome with drinks with honor system. Coffee on the Terasse in the morning was complementary. Very recommendable!

Very nice place to stay in Lucca. It's not in the town center but it takes maybe 15 minutes to walk. From the train station it's also about 20 minutes. What we liked the most is breakfast in the cafe right near, because there are no any othe cafes or food shops in the near (we didn't find it), so it was a great decision to choose this place. Very clean and cozy.
