Mr Matteo. Wonderful, unpretentious, and his bar. Italians like that are a thing of the past... The bathroom tiles are the most beautiful in the world. Delicious coffee, delicious ham. And the town is charming. Close to the sea. I RECOMMEND IT!!! We're going back there for a month :)

Ca’ Barbieri Guesthouse is truly a home from home. Anyone wanting to escape from day-to-day life should stay here. Marie and her family are ever so kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they really looked after us. We left feeling like part of the family and are already planning our return for 2025 (we are counting down the days!!!) The breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious, it set us up nicely for a day by the pool. The pool itself is a piece of heaven, it is spotless and deliciously warm, while also cooling on a scorching summer day. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, cool (amazing A/C!!!) and had everything needed for our stay. We especially loved the blackout shutters and mini fridge. We had a wonderful sleep each night. The location of the guesthouse gives a real rural feel, away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. This means you have a selection of restaurants which are frequented by the locals (always a good sign!). We will always remember our trip here. Thank you Marie
