Exceptionally friendly and attentive hosts. 24/7 access to a small kitchen complete with cereals, pastry, fruit, tea, etc. We particularly loved the location - it is in the heart of the old upper town, cobbled paths and no roads around. We could sleep with the windows open and could not hear a peep. Yes, it is a bit of a tough ride up if you come by bicycle, especially when you are fully loaded with pizza and pasta, but the atmosphere and the view more than make up for that. If taking the stairs, and takes about 20 minutes to get to the „bottom“ of Maccagno or back and the walk is marvellous too.
