Wonderfully warm welcome, lovely chat. Some really lovely thoughtful touches here - a cake in the kitchen, smoothies for guests... crispy clean bedroom and lots of information provided of good local spots/cafes etc. Great location for town, church and free parking!

Throughout the check-in process, everything was extremely smooth and Disa was able to help us check in to the property even when she was out. There was a small mistake from my end as I had booked the wrong room type but this was also settled very easily with no stress in a friendly and agreeable way. The property itself is wonderful and very recently renovated and very tidy, it’s the perfect door into the real Rekajavik and you get a very warm and friendly hug like being at home, which is really what you want. Disa made the effort to even take us out to a concert to truly experience Icelandic culture. That was special and unique. Disa goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable and happy. So much so that when we returned to the capital we had booked a different property which was really below any reasonable standards I connected Disa straight away and was able to experience this wonderful property for a second time. Excellent property, excellent owner, excellent location.

Everything was awesome ! The share bathroom was clean and there are actually 2 bathrooms with shower and toolet and one extra toilet for 4 rooms, so its quite private:) kitchen was fully equiped and we even have kettle, a Lot of teas, coffee maker and coffee and milk in our room.. room was quiet - when someone was showering across our room even at 1am we heard nothing :) room was with good temperature and position of this appartment was just great, we walked everywhere because it was so close to anything :) and we can storage our bags there after check out and thats was really helpfull:) thank you!

Cosy guesthouse with a great location. Hallgrimmskyrkja and everything Reykjavik has to offer is right outside. I really liked our room that was on the top floor. Good value for the money. Good atmosphere and a good breakfast. Would really consider going back if I'm lucky to visit Reykjavik again.

Eric the Red is a perfectly located Guest House in Reykjavik just 60m/200ft from Hallgrímskirkja Church which is the biggest church and single most central point in Reykjavik, we are in short walking...

Amazing location right next to the church, the friendliest of hosts, super helpful, extremely clean place, fully equipped kitchen with tea, coffee etc. at your disposal, really cozy overall, would highly recommend it! Hvala Leo! :)

The location was within easy walking distance to anything that one could want to see our do. From a laundromat, major shopping and restaurants, the waterfront, parks and the city business district 8 minutes away (all in different locations 🙂) to Hallgrimskirkja, practically right outside the door. The neighborhood is quiet, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the list of options for your day very wide.
