I would say this is one of the best guesthouses we have ever stayed. Everything was super clean, friendly staff, well equipped kitchen with a nice view, leisure room available, comfortable beds, clean and big bathrooms, parking available. Also, from an architectural point of view, the house itself has a good layout - each room does not have a common wall with neighbour and it is separated by bathrooms.I strongly recommend this guesthouse to be visited by the owners of other guesthouses - it is a lot to learn from a good example.

The property was situated in an absolutely beautiful setting. The kitchen was spotlessly clean , well equipped and big enough to share. There was a large sitting room area where people could socialise if they wished . There was a downstairs toilet and a shower room with toilet upstairs , so more than adequate for the people staying . We visited the Freezer hostel nearby for a music evening which was great fun, this was advertised in the guesthouse. Our bedroom was very clean and very comfortable. The bed was absolutely huge. At the time we were staying Arctic Terns had arrived. This area is one of the largest habitations of these birds in Iceland.

This was a perfect secluded location in the west of Iceland! The room was warm and spacious, had cooking facilities and a nice bathroom. It was a perfect cosy spot for a night, I would have happily stayed longer!

What a special place! Such lovely people and they upgraded my room on arrival for free, which was wonderful! The breakfast was fantastic and had a great selection of hot and cold things. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and I saw the aurora right from my porch!

There was a slight language barrier but still the welcome felt very warm. The accomodation was great, I even slept there like I was at home and honestly wanted to stay longer. It was great! I looked out of the bathroom window and I could see horses just horsing around near the mountain.
