Cozy place with beautiful decoration. I loved the attention to detail of the owner, who was really nice and helpful. She asked me the previous day about the time I'd like to have breakfast and the following day she had prepared a full table of a good variety of food and drinks. The house is a great place to stay and feel like home. If I go back to Husavik for another whale tour (for which the hostel offers a discount) I'd definitely would stay here again.

Great location, incredibly bad road there, but that enhances the exclusiveness. Met two returning customers, they love the place as we did. Really nice staff. Passive but "there" and chatted when we wanted to.

Extremely clean. Very compact. Kitchen had everything we needed. Outdoor seating was great. Very quiet and remote which we enjoyed. Communication was excellent and efficient.

I strongly recommend this guesthouse! Our room with private bathroom was so clean and pretty and the view from our window was spectacular. If I ever find myself on the north of Iceland again (which I hope I will) I will most definitely book here. We met only one person (the owner probably) and she was super nice. The location itself is very remote, on the way to Husavik, and probably perfect for seeing northern lights (we haven't because of the bad weather).
