Lovely semi-detached house in the country side. Has beautifull morning views of the local big volcanoes (Hekla, Katla and Eijafjallajokull). Location wise it’s quite convenient for Golden Circle and heading East to Vík and further (Diamond Beach was a stretch in early November but doable). The heated bathroom floors and hot tub are a nice bonus on top.

I don’t understand the low score. What more could you want than super easy checkin, proper kitchen and dining tables, clean bathrooms and cosy rooms? Compared to everything else available, this was great value. Me and my son loved this place.

This off-the-beaten-path, quaint and quiet accommodation was perfect for our 2 night stay. Plenty of cozy corners and shared kitchen space, beds were comfortable and room and bathroom was immaculately clean. Plenty of outdoor space to run around in and overall a great experience.

Everything - easy to find with clear signage, the hosts were lovely people, comfy beds, the room was spacious and extremely clean, shower had very good water pressure and was warm. Its about 15 min from Selfoss so really close to amenities but secluded at the same time. There is a fridge in the room for your own food, kettle and tea and a welcome biscuit. Easy parking just out front. We came a bit late around 10pm so didn't see the full kitchen but in the common corridor for the 2 guest rooms, there is a microwave and plates and cutlery for use probably because of those late check ins and snacks. So thoughtful!
