Stunning facilities with the secret lagoon on your literal doorstep. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and, during my stay, was well maintained by both the guests using it and the staff. The room was spotless, the staff clearly go to a lot of trouble to ensure the highest degree of cleanliness. I've stayed in 5-star accommodation that pales in comparison to this place.

Magical little guesthouse nestled among the forest. Room was newly renovated. Lovely modern bathroom facilities. Warm powerful shower. Very warm and informative welcome from the host. Great breakfast included. We took a little walk down to the hot springs through the snowy forest and dipped our feet in the water. Loved everything about our stay. Was short but very memorable.

The self-service check in was very smooth and the instructions sent by the owner explained everything clearly. The room and facilities were clean and the atmosphere is very homey. Highly recommended for someone looking for a place to spend one night or so in the middle of their icelandic adventures.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gaukshof! 🌟 The property is full of charm, with a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy , perfect for a relaxing night after exploring the area. The location is great, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby sights.
