This place is set in a truly spectacular setting. The café/chill area is such a nice and relaxing place to sit down. The guesthouse is walking distance from shops/restaurants and the lake nearby which is beautiful. Santosh the owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and obliging. My hut was clean and spacious, with a little terrace at the back offering a stunning view. I was unaware before getting to Hampi that you can't cross the river by boat during monsoon season so it takes approximately 40 minutes in tuk tuk. I would recommend for those his stay in South Hampi (which I also did for a couple of nights) to also spend at least a night or two in North Hampi, as it offers something completely different –beautiful green countryside and natural beauty!

Wow - where to start with this property. It’s clean, comfortable and fun. The family the Sai Rams - their names are Anjini,Jaya,keerthi and Nithya,penchami . They are all very welcoming and kind. Jaya stitched my trousers for me, and one night they dressed me up in the sari as if I was going to a marriage ceremony. It’s in the town just beside the temples. And main Hampi sites. We rented bikes and cycled everywhere. I would highly recommend staying here - and also - this property has Netflix. So you can watch tv in bed 😏😏

Location is right in the centre of Hampi - I did a whole day of site seeing by foot including some of the main sunrise and sunset points. There are numerous restaurants less than 50m away. It also has a great rooftop that I practiced yoga from in the mornings. Staff is super friendly and helpful - Sangu organised by pick up from the train, my overnight train to Mysore and even helped me order my food through the restaurant nearby so it would be ready when I got back when I was running late for my train. If the room is vacant you can check in early - I checked in at 630am
