The property is just exactly the same as it is shown in pictures. Very neat and clean. Very homely. The owner of the house is very warm and welcoming. The manager Santosh is star of the show. Always extends his hand when in need a d so well behaved. Never says no. Food was customised exactly to our liking and needs. Must stay there

We had a great stay at this place! Our room upstairs was spotlessly clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed, including clean bedsheets, shower towels, a water kettle, and even tea bags. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that our room had a private bathroom, despite having booked a shared one. Although there was some outside noise from dogs and cars, the room was thankfully not noisy from other guests or the hallway. Unfortunately, we had to leave early and couldn't try the breakfast, but the price we paid included it and all taxes. For only 1169 INR (14.25 USD) per night, we got great value for money. For an extra 250 INR (3 USD) per day we could’ve used the A/C unit, which we thought was reasonable. One word of caution: the gate is closed at night, so make sure to obtain the housekeeper/gatekeeper's number to let you out/in. However, when we called in the early hours of the morning, he arrived to open the gate for us within a minute.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything worked perfectly, and the atmosphere was peaceful. The reception staff was also very good and helpful, especially the guy at the front desk who made the early check-in smooth and guided me well. Overall, a great experience and worth recommending.

Perfect Stopover at Mimo's Homestay I stayed at Mimo's Homestay during my bike ride from Kerala to Bhutan, and it was a wonderful experience! Baruah Bhavan is a place I always return to when in Guwahati. It offers a comforting, home-like routine—tea on the terrace, walks by the river (though this time, construction along the riverside put that on hold), and homely rooms that make you feel at ease. Long, leisurely lunches at the dining table add to the warmth, making it feel less like a residency and more like being a guest at a family friend’s home. The Achala home's staff were way to most kind and ambiance one I ever had especially I want to say that the caretaker (Minhajul Da) was the best host I ever met. Though we were couples, we found the room very romantic and the room were very neat and clean and the bathroom was too.... The environment of the hotel was very homely..... I love it💜✨
