I'm Australian and visited during the low season and had the most incredible stay — it honestly felt like this family had a magic wand hidden somewhere. Every little problem I brought with me, they solved with such kindness and ease. From helping me get tailored clothes made, to fixing the screen on my phone, to preparing the most delicious meals, to even arranging a local traveler to accompany me to the ghats — they thought of everything. Mohit’s wife cooks the most amazing food, with a huge variety of delicious home-style Indian dishes. I probably ate 70% of my meals here, and every bite was a treat! As a solo woman traveler, I felt completely safe and cared for. When I ran into trouble with a bad Uber driver, they stepped in right away and sorted it out without hesitation. Whatever was on my to-do list, they somehow made it happen. Their home is full of warmth, laughter, and the sweetest little girls you’ll instantly fall in love with. Mohit’s mother also carries such wisdom and clarity in her words that, even when she spoke in Hindi, I found myself understanding. They’re wonderfully creative too — they hand painted uplifting murals to brighten the walls, from a cute panda to a serene Buddha, and they’ve even made cozy seats out of recycled tyre wheels. In the evenings, the open terrace is the perfect place to sit, while doves that have been nesting there for over five years coo gently in the background. The family also runs a small shop, so snacks and drinks are always within easy reach. Compared to the bustle of the city, this place is peaceful and quiet, yet still just a short walk from the Buddhist temples in Sarnath. The rooms are comfortable, with options to suit everyone — from dorms to single rooms and larger family spaces. Truly, this is the BEST place I have ever stayed. Beautiful property, everything is new and well maintained, super clean and the staff are really kind and professional, you wake up to the sound of birds, also the owner is always ready to help

The Hotel owner was very helpful. We needed important medication and he directly brought us to the next pharmacy. After that he showed us a nice Place to Watch the Aarti-ceremony and stayed With us. He was a Kind man always willing to help us, helped us to book a boat tour and arranged our way to the bus station.

We had a great stay at Azure Family Paying Guest House! Sona and her daughter are incredibly nice and caring! We could check in at 7am in the morning as our train from Agra was that early and there was a room available (for no additional charge). We had a cooking lesson with Sona, making Samosas, which was so much fun! And when we left, Sona organised an airport drop off for us. The room was small but comfy and clean, with hit shower and ventilator.

Clean, hygienic and well-maintained. If somebody looking for a cheap overnight stay this hotel is perfect for them.

The location is excellent, close to the ghats and main attractions. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was homely and fresh, and the host Mr. Vishnu Mukherjee was extremely helpful with local guidance.
