We found this accomodation on booking.com and gave it a try. It was a good decision, we enjoyed our stay here. The host was very welcoming, being there at our disposal but not disturbing us. Our room was simple and big and comfortable with an attached bathroom, hot water was available. I liked that all information is given in a message after booking, with clear rules, covering everything. We know what to expect and the host is very straightforward with us. I was in a private room in this hostel, which was big and clean. The commutation was very good and the owner both nice and knowledgeable. There wasn’t a great deal around the immediate location but all that was needed were only a short walk away. The area felt very safe both day and night.

I had an absolutely unforgettable stay in Alleppey. This is the perfect stay if you are looking for time in nature and the backwaters. Room is comfortable, clean, and with AC - so you can relax perfectly in the room. The balcony is great too and offers direct view on the littler river. The host Lizza is kind and fun, always there to help, Plan trips, cook food for you. The whole house is so beautiful, so you will enjoy having breakfast/dinner on the long table in the Main hall. This place seems suitable for anyone: alone-traveller, backpackers, couples, familys with kids. They have a garden to hang out too! And best part: its only 10sec walk to the starting point of your boat trip (Lizza will arrange)! Then you can discover lakes, big rivers, small rivers and village life in the backwaters. Ask Lizza for a TukTuk (Autoriksha) drive through the little streets through this area, so you will see more small rivers with plants, more village life, rice plantages and local life :) This is the place to be! Safe, quiet and welcoming. Easy access to beach. Rooms spotless with quiet air con and plentiful supply of hot water. All rooms, including the communal areas have a lovely tasteful Boho chic vibe that the images do not do justice too. For once... a homestay that isn't photoshopped to death. You get more than you see. Sugar is kind knowledgeable and helpful.
