We had the best time there, the staff is very welcoming. Homely and quiet room. Plus, it's so nice to be surrounded by noble wooden furniture, all the way from our room to JB's pub. Kilkenny is such a lovely and lively little town. It has a strong local pub culture in which we felt heartily welcomed, even though we had that strong tourist vibe !

Sheila was very kind, in general all staff was caring, all advice & tips in regard of our trip were very appreciated. The food and beer were exceptionally good. We had later on a bigger 4 star hotel experience at Limerick, we felt way more comfortable here.

Location was excellent. We were very close to everything we wanted to do. We really appreciated the breakfast. We also loved the towel warmer in the bathroom. Also the nice high ceilings!!
