We had an absolutely fabulous time in Kilkenny the apartment is perfectly located close to the city centre and so well appointed inside with an amazing library of books which added to the welcoming feel of our stay . The apartment was beautifully clean with every amenity that you may require

We loved Butler House! It is a beautiful historic hotel in a perfect location. My group of six ended our evening playing cards in the dining area. We had a wonderful time here.

The location is great. Walking distance from the main attractions. There's a pretty large open air space for your car right in front of the place (you just need an app to pay, very easy). The room is cozy and warm. The staff is great! I travel a lot for work and pleasure, strongly recommend this :)

Sheila was very kind, in general all staff was caring, all advice & tips in regard of our trip were very appreciated. The food and beer were exceptionally good. We had later on a bigger 4 star hotel experience at Limerick, we felt way more comfortable here.

Our stay at Rafter's exceeded our expectations! We arrived before the 3:00 PM check in and they were able to store our bags while we went to explore the town. The location was very central to shops and attractions in Kilkenny, and the room was clean and comfortable. We stayed on a Sunday night, so the neighborhood was very quiet. We had dinner in the pub; we received great service and the food was delicious - especially the steak! The best part of our stay was interacting with Jerry. He was very attentive and was able to provide drink recommendations. We watched a TV show with him and some other customers in the pub in the evening, and at the end of the night he showed us hurling and Irish football on TV after we expressed interest in learning about the sports. Jerry had a table set for us when we came down for breakfast in the morning. The included breakfast was great and set us up for a good day of traveling! Overall, it was a great experience and a great value.

Location was excellent. We were very close to everything we wanted to do. We really appreciated the breakfast. We also loved the towel warmer in the bathroom. Also the nice high ceilings!!

The rooms are small and the bathroom is down the hall and if the water isn’t hot try the other bathroom, but… what a fantastic night we had!! Our first night in Ireland and we had an amazing time. We sat outside and drank with the locals, moved inside as it got later and colder, people started singing and we ended up going to bed at 2am. Very warm and welcoming locals.
