I loved the small cottage right next to the lake and the balcony to relax on. The bed was very comfortable with warm duvet. There was a fan but I didn't need it as the the weather was just nice. I loved the shower's very good water pressure and warm water. Some more there was a warm welcome as soon as I got off the ferry and the helpful staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay right up until I stepped back on the ferry. Loved the breakfast so much! Very tasty, filling and healthy.

We had the greatest time at Leokap homestay. Three lovely sisters run the homestay and have a restaurant on the other side of the road. The food is amazing, you have to try! They even showed us how to do it so we could learn about indonesian cuisine. Originally we wanted to stay for 2 nights, but ended up extending to 5 nights. They have traditional Batak houses which is a great experience. The accomondation has enough space in the garden to relax and has a great view on the lake.

Great staff very sociable, helpful and easy to contact as well as great cuisine, because the restaurant and drinks are on the ground floor of the hotel. Super place at a good price.
