Villa Wastra is probably the most beautiful place we’ve ever been. It’s true that it is not a centric as other places in Ubud but if you’re looking for a place off the beaten track where you can unwind and just listen to the birds chirping, this is the place. We were lucky to be the only guests, which made the experience more unique. Besides, Maria, the host, was extremely helpful and caring. I actually cried when leaving the house.

cozy rooms, clean bathrooms with hot water shower, very good breakfast in the morning
but what is absolutely amazing is the beautiful garden in front of the rooms, neatly and carefully cultivated by our caring hosts - Wayan and his wife Emma
I have never met such nice hosts in my whole life…

Charming, quiet, peaceful. Not for those who want extravagance or are exacting in their demands. Staff speak little english but we managed and they are absolutely charming. A real jewel.

Bucu hidden guest house is a hidden gem! Especially if you are interested in meditation and mindfulness I can highly recommend to stay there. The location is wonderfully peaceful with a beatiful garden, the room is spacious and clean and, most importantly, Wayan and his wife are incredible hosts. Thank you Wayan for the time I had at your place, I will certainly come back!
