It was very nice. The host was lovely. She prepared for me a jacuzzi and shared a glass of wine. The grounds are pleasant and well-maintained and I saw other guests relaxing on the grass. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. They had air conditioning which was helpful. It was a nice apartment and I enjoyed my stay. Note that this property (like pretty much everywhere else in this whole lake area) is near a railway and the walls are not that sound-proofed, but I didn’t mind and had a lovely sleep. Good luck and enjoy life!

Maison Bagatell is a hidden gem in a variety of homes to stay at Badacsony. Everything is just exceptional about this place, imagine a mix of Italian Toscana and French Provence with a Hungarian touch. We enjoyed everything about the place, the renovated villa provides breathtaking views from the terrace both in the morning and in the sunset. You can enjoy the sunshine in the larger backyard green zone. The breakfast options were nice. The location of the villa allows you to enjoy a short hike up to the mountain and of course to explore the local vineyards of Badacsony. The hosts are very nice, welcoming and pleasant to talk to. We will definitely be back if we have a chance.
