The apartment was in the most spectacular location and doubles up as a small restaurant. We had the best meal of our trip sitting at a table right down but the water. Very Shirley Valentine!

An amazing place to stay for a week. Absolutely stunning views and a beautiful outdoor area where I could just sit, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. I felt truely welcomed and had a great time. The hosts were very kind and the accommodation was neat and clean. The apartment is located in a very quiet place with a beautiful view of the forest and the sea. The only thing you will hear when you wake up in the morning are the birds, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed :)

Inka was so hospitable! She was easy to reach and helped whenever I had a question. The apartment is in a great spot in Pomena - right near the beginning of the trails. They have a gorgeous garden out the back and there’s plenty of restaurants near by.

Located in the heart of Mljet National Park, Guesthouse Pomena is surrounded by sea and nature and set in a quiet area without traffic.

Everything! Excellent location - especially if you’re carrying heavy bags - as it’s right by the port, and also less than 5mins walk to the entrance of the National Park (which is a must!!). The room was spacious and clean. The Restaurant Pomena (where you check in) has very tasty, freshly made food, and they give you a 10% discount if you’re staying in the guesthouse so it makes it more economical than the rest of the restaurants. Payment at the guesthouse is cash only, but at the restaurant they take card. They kindly let me leave my bags at the restaurant the checkout day whilst I waited for the afternoon ferry. 5mins walk to the harbour pool area - which has free decking chairs! Great place to spend a few hours in wait! They also kindly provided me with some hot water for my thermos flask in the mornings for which I was extremely grateful (as no kitchen and no kettle in the room as mentioned in many reviews).
