The hotel is located in the very center of the city, behind the walls of the old city. It is forbidden to enter this part of the city, but hotel guests can enter. Parking nearby, by the castle - we received a special card allowing us to park, we could keep it also for the day of check-out. Very friendly service. We received detailed information on where to eat well and what to visit. Delicious breakfast served in the garden, in a very nice and professional manner. Room decorated nicely, kettle, tea, water in the room. 5 minutes on foot to the lakeside walking promenade.

The location of the hotel was excellent, the room was very clean, modern, breakfast was great with lots of choice available, and the staff were very friendly! We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to stay at Hypnos again in our next visit to Ioannina. Highly recommend.

The location inside the castle walls made the experience unique, quiet, convenient, and culturally charming. You are greeted by a lovely courtyard with its own well, the rooms were exactly what we needed, and within a five-ten minute walk you could be among restaurants and cafes or shops, but within the castle walls all was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very helpful, and breakfast was lovely if you wanted to start your day that way. The beautiful Ioannana lake was also just a short walk away, as were very interesting museums. We would recommend staying here to anybody!

The host is very polite. He gave us hints about the tourist attractions. There were two free rooms so we had a choice. The bed is comfortable, there is an air conditioner. The village is very beautiful with romantic narrow streets. It is very close to Ioannina (around 40 minutes by foot to the city Center of Yoannina), there is a bus to Yoannina but we didn’t manage to find its schedule.
