The highlights of my stay were easily the staff and the location! This is not a beach side resort, but it is where you will see the true Gambian hospitality. Great conversations were had at the bar and it was so nice to see some of the local families using the pool and having fun. Th location is an easy walk to restaurants and main streets. Every night I walked to get food and back and never once felt unsafe. The room was big! Too big for just me. The place was clean and tidy and to top it off the resident dogs were so sweet and loved pats!

A really peaceful and comfortable place. A bit of a hidden gem I would say since you cannot find it on google maps. Its a unique blend of apartment, hotel, and bed and breakfast. The place had real proper airconditioning that made sleeping very comfortable though it was extremely humid and hot outside. For someone from the Netherlands, thats quite important. The vibrant colors and well-maintained garden created a serene atmosphere. I also loved the large patio on the first floor that provided a peaceful spot with a beautiful view of tropical trees. Perfect to hangout a bit, maybe read or just chill. I took a morning coffee there overlooking everything. Very nice. Most importantly the staff is really kind and helpful. That added to the positive experience. So, overall, a delightful and recommended retreat for those seeking a calm and welcoming environment within walking distance of everything.
