We liked everything about our stay here. The rooms are very spacious, with big beds, a hanging line for laundry, and the best local baobab juice at the bar. The main sights are at a walking distance of about 10-15 minutes, we felt very safe walking around the neighborhood, the complex itself is very safe. The best thing about our stay were definitely the owners. Jessica‘s honest smile greets you every time and just makes you happy to be back. And Paul goes beyond any reasonable expectation to make your stay perfect and safe. We are very grateful for everything they did for us and could not have wished for better hosts.

The room was very spacious and clean. So was the bathroom. We were provided with soft towels and crisp clean bedsheets. Pillows were very soft and comfortable. You have a little basic safe to out your valuables in the room. We felt our things were very secure. But, the absolute best was our kitchen chef; he was amazing and sooo lovely and friendly. The food he cooked for us was amazing. You can have breakfast and lunch/ dinner on site. All the residence staff was great and very helpful. We utterly enjoyed our stay in the Pelican Residence.

My favourite part was the beautiful garden full of lovely trees, plants and birdsong as well as the pool which was a great way to cool off. I also loved my room which was spacious, very comfortable and came with fridge, en suite shower and A/C. The hotel staff were fantastic, always ready to help, friendly and relaxed and at the same time very professional with plenty of tips on local places to visit. Great food too, such as butter fish and spicy chicken and recommend the delicious Gambian juice called Wonjo. I had a wonderful week at Hibiscus House - very much hope to go back some time.
