It felt like home. I needed a place to stay for work. The host was lovely, kind and very accommodating. The place was very safe and secure. I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely return as a regular if needed at work.

The White Hart Inn’s location for me was superb for me as we were needing to be close to South Cerney and the M4. The accommodation is separate to the pub so was quiet - even when they have a function. The gardens are well maintained and the birdsong was lovely to hear. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the housekeeping staff friendly and accommodating to supply extra milk etc and as my daughter was unwell for a couple of days, they were happy to resupply us as needed. A home away from home. I would have to say that all the staff were lovely and helpful. The quality of the food was superb - I don’t think I have had better long tailed scampi anywhere else - and the vegetables were so fresh. The breakfast menu is good with individual orders taken and cooked fresh when you arrive in the dining room. We were able to eat in the room in the evenings if we wanted and this was a blessing with my daughter being unwell. We were there for a week and were able to sample the Sunday Carvery, which was delicious. We will be back for the carvery in the near future once we have moved back to the village to live permanently. They have separate parking for the Inn guests which was great to have so no fear of any disturbance of property when the pub is busy. The bar itself is intriguing - a bit of a maze which leaves diners in alcoves and feeling more private to enjoy their food, drinks and conversations. very well thought out.

staff could not be anymore helpful. We arrived late after a day’s travelling and I had made an error with my booking, staff could not have been more helpful and sorted everything in the most professional way they could.
