I had an excellent stay. The owners were exceedingly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities I needed. The location was also excellent- I was travelling by public transport, and was able to enjoy walks in the local area as well as access efficient train and bus connections to elsewhere in the Highlands.

Very good layout of room, even small, the space was very smartly used. Also the basket with morning treats was a very welcoming idea. All in all, I recommend it, the only issue we had it was the bed was somehow shorter than normal (my hubby slept with feet a bit in the air). Also, we travelled with our toddler who sleeps with us, and while in other guest houses we did not have a space issue with the bed, here it was a bit tight. But it was very clean and we really liked the style of the room.

Everything was exceptionally clean and the host offered many good suggestions what to do in the surroundings. And the breakfast too was very nice with options other hosts did not offer.

The location is dreamy. On the loch, a beautiful view in all weather, a little walk by the water possible just by crossing the road. Good noise insulation despite the age of the building. The breakfast is very generous, and on a par with Agriturismos in Spain plus Sottish cooked breakfast too if you desire. The toiletries provided are gorgeous, they even provide hair straighteners. The shower is piping hot and adequate pressure. The whole place is spotless, Service attentive but not fawning. Short trip on foot or super short trip by car into Fort William, a lovely little town and a great base fro travelling the Highlands or en route to the stunning Isle of Skye.The bed was super comfy - a superking size with two separate mattresses so your twitching partner won't wake you - fab! Fluffy decent sized towels on heated rack, and they even have pillow spray - not that you'll need it. You'll sleep soundly despite the house being on the road - good windows and it's not terribly busy at night anyway. BOOK IT!
