We had a chat with staff who were so polite and informative about the location, the room was exceptional having a lovely au suite which was very clean, in all the room was very comfortable, The food was so delicious plenty on the menu to choose from, I had the steak cooked to my preference and it was to die for. meeting all our expectations .We could not fault The Woolly Sheep at all. It was Great value for money a huge Thankyou we will be seeing you again . And No you don't need to appear on 3 in a bed , it does so well on it's own ! Well worth the drive from Liverpool x

When I arrived Adrian and Caroline were sitting outside their house, so nice and welcoming. I loved my room, which was the single one, full off small objects related to railways and lovely details to make you feel comfortable. Perfectly clean, with delightful pieces of furniture and plenty of teas and coffees to choose from. It was almost like a small apartment. Breakfast was really good, with fresh fruit and a full Yorkshire breakfast. We talked about the village, the walks and exchanged interesting opinions. I wish I had more time to spend here because I really felt at home in this place. Thank you!

The light in both the room and the bathroom, the wide windows you can actually open (not to take for granted nowadays), the roomy shower, the smell of the provided soaps/body lotion, the comfortable bed, the many pillows, the breakfast, the location. I love this place, it's situated in beautiful landscape People here are warm, accomodating and truly care about their guests, if you've got any problem it's quickly sorted. Breakfasts were great and served in lovely blue onion pattern. I had a very enjoyable stay and nice room with a window to the street, certainly come back again. Thank you very much!
