The room seemed recently renovated with taste. We didn't get bothered by any noise, since the pub closed at 22:00.

The hosts were very welcoming. Friendly, accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond in making me feel at home. The room was clean, well equipped and cosy. Breakfast and evening meal both excellent.

Charming place with kind and helpful staff. Spacious room is separated from the bar and the restaurant so there is no noise. Food for dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, and the breakfast was also fabulous. Spent just one night but would definitely come back again to explore Peak District.

This location is a local pub in a tiny village. It is about 20 minutes from Bakewell and those 20 minutes are spent driving down country lanes...which I found to be a absolutely glorious. The space was clean and well maintained. The pub was charming. Everyone who worked there was lovely. Highly recommended this place.
