If you are fortunate enough to stay at Le Domaine du Castellas, you won’t regret it. The property is secluded, and once you arrive, you may not feel the need to do much touring, but that is precisely why it deserves a place in your holiday. This is not just accommodation, it is one of life’s special experiences that will stay with you for many years. The journey along the long, narrow road is soon forgotten when the property opens up before you. The views, tranquillity, beautifully appointed rooms, and exceptional service make it all worthwhile. We left already knowing we would return, something that rarely happens. The staff play a huge part in the magic here. From the talented chef to the gardening team, front of house, and the meticulous Elsa Picaud Dor, who we believe is the reason the property is so immaculate, every detail is cared for with dedication. We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.

Our stay was great at Lauras beautiful house! She was also amazing, showed us everything and was very helpful. The room is huge and the kitchen/living room stunning! Definitely coming back!

We like everything in this property, absolutely! The breakfast is superb, excellent, fresh fruit, juice and pancakes with everything you order else! Stuff is great and friendly, great people! Pool is great and garden also! Rooms completely great! Definitely coming back!

The property is situated in the countryside so very peaceful but within walking distance of Lourmarin. The apartment was beautiful - modern, tasteful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We also appreciated use of the swimming pool. Aurelie was a brilliant host; her communication was quick, efficient and accommodating and she greeted us arrival with a very warm and cheerful welcome.
