This place is a gem!! The owners collect all kinds of memorabilia of World War 2 and is displayed throughout the house and rooms. A wonderful vibrant owner who kept us enthralled with her stories! Breakfast is in a large room with lovely lace napkins and table cloths with great food such as cold cuts/cheese/boiled egg/baguette/croissant and another tasty pastry as well as cereal/yogurt/juices/coffee/tea etc. You won't go hungry! The presentation is beautiful! The house is only a block from the water where you can see parts of the man made dock/harbour during World War 2. Make sure you leave time to see the museum by the water!

Firstly - the pictures do not do this space justice. It is beautiful. The building itself is an old stone farmhouse that has been restored and upgraded to the highest standard with all modern amenities. The room is very spacious, very comfortable and private - and the bathroom is beyond luxurious. We were staying at a good hotel in Paris but took a day trip - and ended up staying for 2 nights here as it was so special. If I had known this place existed before I would have not even bothered with Paris! The expansive property has places to go sit and relax - admiring the trees, flowers and birdsong. The lovely hosts provided a breakfast that was so fresh and featured some regional treats - couldn't have asked for better!
